Strawberry

This wasn't too hard but the leaves were pretty difficult. They took me the longest out of everything.

Holiday Bulb

This project wasn't too hard but it took a while to complete. As you can see I had problems fixing the shadow but oh well.

Jack O Lantern

This was the hardest project so far this yr. Some hardships i had were pretty much making the whole thing. The easiest was the background. I learned a lot on using different brushes and a whole lot of layers though.

Personal Expression

Some hardships I faced in this was trying to make the gradient and design for the background. It also started getting hard to think of words that described me toward the end. My favorite part of this project was erasing all the extra stuff outside of me in the original picture of me.

Logo Trace

This is the original.

And this is my recreation of it. Some hardships I had were getting the letters to fit properly and to make the soccer ball white but leave everything else black. Another hardship i had was i screwed up with the layers in the beginning and had to fix that. Also my color panel was jacked up some how so i had to work with screwed up colors.

Logo Trace

I thought the most difficult part in this was creating the outline of the sign. That took the longest for me. Once I had that done though things were a little easier and took less time.

Quote Revisited

Before

After
I made the author smaller because it is less important and i emphasized enemy more because that is an important word in this quote. I also made it more in line because it looks more balanced. And i didn't take the advice that i need to change the colors cause that was dumb advice, I think a military quote should be camo colors.

10/3

I like this picture because i think bicycle kicks in soccer are amazing! They are always something amazing to see in a game, especially if they score a goal. No matter what they always add excitement to a game.
This picture has asymmetrical balance.
The emphasis on this picture is the soccer player who is performing the bicycle kick.
It has all three of the primary colors in it.
I like this picture because it is the cover of one of my all time favorite movies. I like the movie because i love the military and even though it was the worst screw up mission in the army rangers, they still managed to save some of their soldiers. Plus it's loaded with action and i love action.
The emphasis on this picture is the soldier.
This has free form shapes in it.
The neutral colors make the picture seem desolate.
I like this picture because i love monkeys and laughing, and this monkey is pretty dang funny looking. I wish i could have seen that in person because i would've busted out laughing. I think it'd be awesome to have a monkey like this one, at least it'd be awesome until he got super big.
This picture is balanced because the monkey's body is on one side but the hay and his arm balance out the other side.
The balance is asymmetrical.
The emphasis is on the monkey's face.
I like this picture because plain and simple, I am a christian. It reminds me of the sacrifice that Christ went through for us. I also think the sunset behind the cross is pretty cool looking.
The emphasis on this picture is the cross in front of the sunset.
The color's in the sunset cause a feeling of relaxation.
The horizontal lines also cause a feeling of calmness.
I like this picture because my Uncle who lives in Alaska is a gill netter and this past summer i was a deckhand on his fishing boat for 2 weeks. This picture reminds me of the time i was out there and I can't wait to do it again next summer. The only thing i didn't like about it was when i got jelly fish flung into my face and getting up while it was still dark out to pick the net.
The emphasis on this picture is either the man or the fish.
This picture is asymmetrical.
I like this picture because this is my future car. It is a honda accord coupe 2008. Right now I have a 2002 version of it but i think the 2008 versions are way cooler looking. One thing that i like about this car is that it looks like a sports car but it's not considered one so you don't have to pay extra for the insurance.
The emphasis on this picture is the car.
This picture is well balanced and is asymmetrical.
The car is a free form shape.
I like this picture because I am going to be a future soldier. I don't know what branch of the military I want to be in yet but I do know that I want to be in it. This picture makes me very proud and thankful that we have the men and women who are putting their lives on the line to protect this country.
This picture has linear rhythm in it because of the stripes.
This picture has good proportion in it because a good amount of the flag is showing.
I like this picture because it is the cover on one of the best games ever made! I love call of duty because it is so fun to go and shoot people in the game, and just own people. I like to play this game when it's too hot to do anything outside.
The emphasis on this picture is the soldier because everything else is kind of blurred out.
The diagonal sparks and dirt flying give a sense of action to the picture.
This picture is of the Texas hill country and i love it there. When I retire I want to buy some land out there and build a house on the property. I love the weather it has, the wildlife, and the landscape. I think it is very peaceful and just awesome out there.
The horizontal lines in this picture cause a quietness and calmness to the landscape.
The green colors represent the life that can be seen there but the orange, brown, and gray colors in front show how arid the land is.
I like this picture because it reminds me of the time I had while visiting family in Alaska. This is a picture of Wrangell, Alaska which is one of the towns/islands my mom grew up in and is one of the towns in Alaska that i still have family in. Wrangell is a small island along the Inside Passage. The main thing i don't like about it though is the weather, it is always raining and i like the sun.
This picture is asymmetrical balanced because the mountains and water balance out one side and the town balances out the other side.
The blue water and blue tint to the mountains give a sense of coolness

About me

I am a soccer player and have been playing all my life. I love the outdoors and doing anything outside. My mom is from alaska so I have a lot of family still living there, so this past summer i went to Wrangell, Alaska and was a deckhand and my Uncle's fishing boat for 2 weeks.
